because
FREEDOM can't protect itself!
The
work of the BCCLA has never been more important or as needed as it is today. Whether
we are speaking out against the use of a Canadian no-fly list, lobbying for the Prevention of Torture Act or calling for a civilian investigation of police misconduct,
the Association is working every day to make sure your rights and freedoms are
protected and respected.
Over
the past few years the Association has found its services being called upon more
and more frequently. With this increase in demand comes the need to increase our
financial capacity. Without your contributions, the BCCLA won't be able to continue.
The BCCLA relies heavily on the support of people like you who believe in freedom and civil liberties
and our work to protect them. We are not government funded. We receive funding
from the Law Foundation of BC as well as by our members and supporters. It is
because of our member and donors generosity that we are able to accomplish all
that we do.
Membership
