The second annual
Freedom in Action event was held on April 20 at Simon Fraser University’s
Burnaby Campus.
High school students were introduced to civil liberties issues through
sessions on criminal law and civil liberties
in the schools.
Students also participated in workshops such as:
- Homelessness and Youth
- Student Activism 101
- What Should Democracy Look Like?
- Aboriginal Justice.
